ConsumerNutrafol came to LaunchSquad in the summer of 2020 with two asks: messaging work and media relations to increase brand awareness in the wellness market. Already known in beauty and trade press, the goal was to expand their footprint in business, lifestyle and consumer publications.
Tapping into timely cultural conversations around demystifying female hair loss and a surging interest in science-backed products, we secured hundreds of pieces of consumer, lifestyle and health coverage. We also worked to position Nutrafol as a category creator and pioneer in the burgeoning hair wellness category, leveraging founder and CEO Giorgos Tsetis as a trusted thought leader on hair health, science-backed, holistic alternatives to hair thinning products on the market.
Our media strategy involved working closely with Nutrafol's professional dermatologist and stylist network, offering up commentary to the media on a variety of trending hair health topics which allowed us to cement the brand as trusted and used by experts, providing an additional layer of credibility to their science-backed products.
